Phang Nga is a shallow bay with 42 islands, the most famous of which is the so-called James Bond Island, a 20 meters needle formed rock in the sea, which featured in the 1974 movie The Man with the Golden Gun. There are around 20 species of mangrove, 80 species of the birds, 70 fish species. Starting from 1981 the Phang Nga Bay was announced to be a National Park in order to protect its natural unique character.
Going on a trip to the National Park of Phang Nga, you find yourself in a world of caves, grottoes, stalactites and mangroves.
